I am really bad at throwing things away, and I spent the evening trying to pare down my VHS and audio cassette tape collection before the move. I know, I know, its time to let go.
But then I find stuff like this: Summer Mix ‘96. That mix tape from that one summer in between 15 and 16 when I painstakingly planned with fade ins & outs and perfect two second pauses in between songs and used all the tape to last few seconds and could not be happier with the results and made copies for all of my friends. I can’t stand most of this shit now, and I can’t even play it! But I can’t throw this out. Its history!
